Baltic SOS: Documentary
The Baltic Sea, one of the most polluted bodies of water in the world, is in crisis – and it needs our help – now!
This fascinating documentary demonstrates the power of a collaborative process that addresses the pressing issues confronting the Baltic Sea – pollution, trash, and eutrophication.
Featuring marine scientists, conservationists, and civic dignitaries – experts from Estonia, Finland, Poland, Germany, and Latvia, all of whom provide valuable perspectives on tackling these challenges – the documentary underscores the significance of this year's inaugural 'Save Our Seas' campaign, outlining the collective aspirations for the future of the Baltic Sea and its surrounding ecosystems.
"Meri algab siit!" means, "The sea starts here!" Protecting it, and helping it to recover from the damage inflicted upon it by human activity, also starts here.
With ministerial support from local governments, we look forward to continued collaboration.
Join the campaign and save our seas!
